Unexpected Challenges
Many women spend hours preparing for the birth of their child, whether it's their first, second, or beyond. Often, with education and preparation, we can achieve the birth we dreamed about. In some cases, this just means that things turn out differently than we expected. I did not plan to have my second baby unassisted in my bathroom with my husband catching him, but that's what nature threw at me.
Countless women face unexpected challenges during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. We spend hours creating the perfect birth plan, but when nature has other ideas, it can all be tossed out the window. It helps them to prepare themselves for the 'what ifs' and empower themselves by feeling educated and knowing that there are people out there who have faced adversity and come out okay. If this is you, please keep reading!
